Reporting a problem

Include your Chrome version, extension version, what happened, and steps to reproduce. A public video link and a redacted screenshot can help. Do not send API keys, login tokens, real payment details, or sensitive chat content.

Using the tester release

1. Open a standard public YouTube video with English captions, then open Talking Heads from Chrome's toolbar.
2. Use the account menu to sign in with Google. Some testers may need their Google account added to the OAuth test-user list.
3. Ask a question using text, or start voice and allow the microphone. The account menu shows the shared monthly allowance as percentages.
4. For a sandbox Pro test, select “Test Pro · no charge.” Never enter a real payment card. This is not a real paid subscription.

Common issues

If captions are unavailable, try another public English-captioned video. After an extension update, reload the YouTube page. If microphone access was denied, open Chrome's permissions for Talking Heads and allow the microphone. If usage is exhausted, wait for its reset or test the sandbox Pro flow.

Deleting information

Use the trash button to clear the current tab's video chat. Other local histories remain. Contact talking-heads@coffeeboy.cafe from your sign-in email for server account access or deletion requests.
